Rode 63 miles for the ADA and raised $500. Mostly flat, which I did not appreciate enough at the time.
250+ PB&J a year at the Trenton soup kitchen, three years running. That is what the Presidential award was for.
Went to MUN in India as a solo delegate because nobody else wanted to.
Four seasons of FTC, sixteen people, about $15k raised to keep the team running.
The part of hardware I actually like is the two hours after a board comes back from fab.
I care about the unglamorous parts: whether the board passes DRC, whether a model still holds up once it's on real data instead of the test set, and whether anyone actually pays for it. That's usually what separates a demo from a product.
